Hearty soup to celebrate Italy’s Slow Food Festival this week

FamilySkiNews.com is continuing to usher in the new season with a series of traditional alpine recipes.  This week’s dish is in honour of Italy’s Slow Food Festival, taking place from today (25 October) until 29 October in Turin.  It’s a delicious soup called Zuppa Valdostana, which originates from the Valle d’Aosta. 

Hearty and warming, it’s perfect for a family lunch this weekend as the temperatures are set to drop and snow is forecast to fall in the Alps.   You can find the recipe here
