Last October we reported on the Easy Rider competition for a non-skiing family to win £30,000 worth of skiing holidays to the French ski area of Les 3 Vallees this winter. 

We are thrilled to report that the lucky family has now been selected.  The winners are the Price family from Potters Bar in Hertfordshire – mum and dad, Hayley and Carsten, plus daughters Ashley (12) and Jasmine (8). 

They have won five free ski holidays for the entire family to Les 3 Vallées – the largest ski area in the world – including flights, transfers, accommodation, season lift passes, ski lessons, ski clothing by Scott and ski equipment by Salomon. They will also receive a year’s family membership to the Ski Club of Great Britain.

To win, they had to post a short video on YouTube and Les 3 Vallées Facebook page.  The panel of judges was unanimous in choosing the Price family.  Here’s their winning entry:

 

On hearing they had won, Carsten Price said his family were “stunned with disbelief… the video took about 50 takes to get right due to much laughter.”

They are very excited about their first taste of the snow – at Christmas, staying in an Esprit Ski chalet in Les 3 Vallées.  Once they get started, you will be able to follow their experiences as a family of first-time skiers on their blog at the Easy Rider section of Les 3 Vallées website or on the Les 3 Vallées Facebook page.
