Teresa Fisher

Have you booked your Easter ski holiday yet?

It’s never been a better time to take the family skiing than now.  The days are longer, the slopes are bathed in sunshine and the amazing snow conditions continue in the high Alps.   What’s more there are still some great bargains to be snapped up for the school holidays or even just for a long weekend.

SkiWeekends.com – a short ski break specialist and its sister company, SkiWeeks.com are offering some excellent packages throughout April to those French resorts which have access to high altitude skiing.  Here are a couple of their best deals:

Travelling by coach
A four-night weekend break to Morzine departing 12 April costs from just £249pp  inclusive of two nights’ chalet board (including afternoon tea and cakes and wine with dinner) at the Chalet Club Les Gourmets, just two minutes’ walk from the Super Morzine gondola and five minutes from the Pleney gondola.

Or include a three-day Meribel valley lift pass together with intermediate ski and boot hire in a four-night weekend package to the Three Valleys departing 12 April and the cost is from just £329pp (saving £66)  including two nights’ half-board at the Club Hotel Verseau in Brides les Bains and a daily gondola shuttle bus service.

(These twin-share prices include return overnight luxury coach travel from London Victoria, Thurrock, Maidstone and Folkestone.  Departures from any UK mainland National Express pick-up point can be booked at a discounted rate.)

Travelling by plane
A four-night weekend break to Chamonix departing 26 April costs from just £373pp, twin-share, inclusive of return Gatwick flights, transfers, four nights’ B&B accommodation at the Club Hotel Le Vert in Chamonix.
